Entry fees are $30 for the first adult class that is entered, and $25 for each additional class entry. Youth classes are $25 for the first class entered, and $20 for each additional class entered. Everybody entering the pits will have to purchase a pit pass. Pit passes are $10 for adults age 10 and over, $5 for kids 5-9, and free for riders under age 4 and under. Grandstand tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids 5-9, and age 4 and under are free. All 50cc youth riders will receive a trophy. All riders are automatically entered into the Mid-America points series. First place will receive a $50 certificate that can be used at a future event, second place receives a $30 certificate, and third place receives a $20 certificate. You must enter 51% of the the events to be eligible for a year end award. From time to time, additional money is put into the purse by a sponsor or an individual. This money will be paid in addition to the amounts posted below. The business or individual putting up the money will determine how the money is paid out. We offer a trophy buy back in all trophy classes. The payout amout varies with the number of entries. See payout chart posted below. We will be strictly enforcing a 98 decibel limit at all practices and races. Speedway bikes will be limited to 110 decibels. This rule will be strictly enforced on both race and practice nights, and no exceptions will be made. Age is determined by actual age on day of race With the exception of the 50cc classes, all motorcycles must have a flat track or trials type tire on the rear wheel. Quads must have flat track type tires on the front and rear. Please note that the Duro HF245 ATV racing tire is not permitted, even though it is marketed as a flat track tire. All motorcycles must have number plates on the front, and both sides. Quads must have a number plate mounted on the front, rear, and both sides. The rear and side number plates should be vertically mounted so that the number can be read from a distance of 75'. In place of a rear number plate, a rider can have his number on the back of his/her jersey. Five riders required to make a class, if less than five riders are entered in a class, we may move those riders to a similar class based on age, ability, and equipment.

The state has nearly a dozen trail systems exclusively for ATV use in its two national forests that cover much of the northern half of the state. Down south, you'll find private trails in off-road parks where you can ride, camp and put a hook in the water. Northeast Georgia Trails In the far northeastern part of the state, two OHV trail systems welcome four-wheelers with a wheelbase of 50 inches or less. Locust Stake OHV Trail System has five loops rolling over 9.4 miles rated as most difficult. You can ride the trails from early April through December. Oakey Mountain trails, 15 miles west of Clayton, are rocky two-way routes with blind curves rated as most difficult. Both trail systems close in early January to protect resources during the spring melt. You'll need a daily or annual permit to ride. Pick one up at any Forest Service office. Get Out of the City A two-hour drive north of Atlanta gets you to several more ATV trail systems. Wissenhunt OHV Trais are the closest to the city, 6 miles north of Dahlonega. More than 11 miles of trails range in difficulty from easy to moderately difficult, and are open from sunrise to sunset each day. Beasley Knob and Davenport Mountain lie in the far northern part of the state near Blairsville. Davenport Mountain OHV trails have nearly 6 miles of trails rated as easy, with a few stretches that fall into the more difficult or most difficult category. You'll find nothing but difficult trails at the Beasley Knob OHV Trails. More than 10 miles rate as more or most difficult. Head West to Adventure The western part of the state has five OHV trail systems open only to vehicles less than 50 inches wide. Rock Creek and Tatum Lead ORV trails connect to form more than 10 miles of scenic four-wheeling 10 miles east of Chatsworth. The Rock Creek trail system forms a loop and rates as most difficult. The Tatum Lead Trail ends at private property, and you'll share road space with high-clearance SUVs, mountain bikes and motorcycles. You can camp at primitive sites along the Houston Valley Trail System, which has about two dozen trails 10 miles from Dallas. Multi-Sport Parks You'll find more riding in the southern part of the state at a number of private sports parks. Soggy Bottom Motor Sport Park hugs 180 acres along the Florida border. After riding your ATV on trails and through mud pits, you'll find other recreational activities along the St. Mary's River and Sparkman Creek that include swimming, fishing, hiking and camping. Durham Plantation Sportsman's Resort in Union Point maintains 150 miles of one-way trails as well as a freestyle park and 4x4 area. The plantation has on-site ATV and dirt bike rentals, a repair shop, restaurant and storage area. You can also fish, hunt and camp at the plantation. Both parks have features for high-clearance SUVs as well as ATVs.

Second-degree murder and touching a child for lustful purposes are among the indictments served recently following a Lincoln County grand jury session. Others include shooting into a car, stealing a wallet and failing to register as a sex offender. The latter was served by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office to a man who was arrested Oct. 6 in an unrelated case for felony cruelty to animals for unnatural intercourse with a horse. Three of those indictments were served on teenagers — two as young as 15 — who are charged as adults for their crimes. A grand jury issues an indictment if it determines evidence presented to them by a prosecuting attorney is enough to establish the commission of a crime. An indictment does not represent a guilty verdict. Jeremy Wayne Cupstid Jeremy Wayne Cupstid, 29, was indicted on Oct. 13 for second-degree murder. Police found Tara Ashley Hudson unresponsive after they answered a domestic violence call at 1:51 a.m. on Nov. 30, 2015. She was later pronounced dead. An indictment issued Oct. 13 accuses Cupstid of striking Hudson with a blunt object. The indictment suggests that the act was not premeditated, but did ultimately lead to Hudson’s death. According to Mississippi code, second degree murder could be subject to life in prison if so decided by a jury proceeding. Otherwise, second degree murder is subject to between 20-40 years in prison. Lakin Christopher Wallace In a continuing string of indictments, Lakin Christopher Wallace, 17, was indicted on Oct. 13 for conspiracy to shoot into a dwelling, shooting into a dwelling and shooting into an automobile. Wallace is accused of conspiring with Kelsie Elizabeth Harrison and Erica Skye Pruden and others to shoot a browning semi-automatic .22 caliber pistol into the house of Joseph Cody Freeman. They are also accused of firing the weapon into Freeman’s 2002 Ford Taurus. Wallace was also served with two indictments issued in October for conspiracy to commit burglary, burglary and receiving stolen firearms. He is being charged as an adult. John Paul Dunaway John Paul Dunaway, 38, was accused in an Oct. 13 indictment of two counts of touching and handling a child for lustful purposes. In both counts, Dunaway was accused of touching a child under the age of 16 for the purpose of gratifying his lust or indulging his depraved licentious sexual desires. Touching a child for lustful purpose is subject to between two and 15 years in prison and a fine between $1, 000 and $5, 000. Leroy Taylor Leroy Taylor, 43, was accused of failing to re-register as a sex offender within the required time limit by failing to update his living address in an Oct. 13 indictment. According to the Mississippi Sex Offender Registry, Taylor was convicted in 1999 of touching a child or mentally defective, incapacitated or physically helpless person for lustful purposes. In an unrelated case, Taylor was arrested on Oct. 6 for felony cruelty to animals/unnatural intercourse with a horse. Failure to register as a sex offender carries a maximum penalty of five years and $5, 000. Virgil Howard Martin Virgil Howard Martin, 45, was accused in an Oct. 13 indictment of stealing a Honda Foreman ATV belonging to Justin Auttonberry. The four-wheeler was said to be worth between $5, 000 and $25, 000, which leads to a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a $10, 000 fine. LJ Green III and Jayden Shannon LJ Green, 15, and Jayden J. Shannon, 15, were accused of armed robbery in an Oct. 13 indictment. The indictment accuses the teens of stealing a wallet and cash from Alfredo Moqueda after making him fear for his life with a handgun.Brookhaven Police Department detective Penelope Banks said at the time that the two knew Moqueda when the robbery took place, and hit him in the head with the weapon during the robbery.
